This past year I’ve been working with a healthcare company to conceptualize a radical new approach to personal health management using the power of technology and experience-driven design to build a Web application that is truly personalized — giving an individual exactly what they need at the right time.

I was asked to design and prototype a new online service for patients with type 2 diabetes to keep track of important exams and screenings, medications, and healthy lifestyle behaviors. The service included a Web-based interface for tracking everything related to one’s diabetes management from Hemoglobin A1c results to eye exams.
